Refund Policy

At WebCraftera LLP (LLP ID: ACT-5716, GSTIN: 27AAFFW4697Q1Z1), most Services are custom, digital, and time-based. Once work has commenced, significant resources — time, research, design, planning, and technical effort — are invested on your behalf. This Refund Policy explains when a refund may be considered and what items are strictly non-refundable.

By paying an invoice or purchasing any service from WebCraftera LLP, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Rules

  • Payments may be processed via Razorpay (India) or PayPal (international), or other methods agreed in writing.
  • Refunds are limited and evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to the service type and project status.
  • Once work has started (including discovery, research, planning, design, configuration, or development), refunds are generally not available unless we are unable to deliver due to our fault.
  • All third-party costs (including hosting, domains, themes/plugins, licences, subscriptions, and ad spend) are strictly non-refundable.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to webcraftera@gmail.com within 7 days of the event giving rise to the request.
  • If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days (subject to bank/payment partner timelines).

2. App Development

Includes: React Native, Flutter, iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin) apps

Refund Eligible

  • Project not started and no discovery work completed
  • Duplicate or accidental payment
  • Service cannot be delivered due to WebCraftera LLP

Non-Refundable

  • Discovery, architecture planning, or UI/UX work started
  • Any code, screens, or prototypes shared
  • Milestone payments once that phase is in progress
  • Change of mind after kickoff or scope approval

App development is billed in milestones. Each milestone payment is non-refundable once that phase begins.

3. Web Development (Full Stack)

Includes: Next.js, MERN, NestJS, TypeScript web applications

Refund Eligible

  • Project not started and requirements not gathered
  • Duplicate or accidental payment
  • Inability to deliver due to WebCraftera LLP

Non-Refundable

  • Architecture design or technical planning completed
  • Any code, API structure, or database schema shared
  • Milestone payments once development begins
  • Client-side delays, scope additions, or change of mind

Milestone-based billing applies. Each paid milestone is non-refundable once development begins.

4. WordPress Development & Website Design

Includes: Business websites, blogs, WooCommerce stores, redesigns, custom themes

Refund Eligible

  • Project not started
  • Duplicate or accidental payment
  • Service cannot be delivered due to WebCraftera LLP

Non-Refundable

  • Work has started (design, layout, or development)
  • Design drafts, mockups, or code shared
  • Client delays or scope changes after kickoff
  • Change of mind after project begins

Advance and milestone payments are non-refundable once the respective phase begins.

5. Shopify Development

Includes: Custom Shopify themes (Liquid), Shopify apps, store setup, migrations

Refund Eligible

  • Project not started and store access not provided
  • Duplicate or accidental payment
  • Inability to deliver due to WebCraftera LLP

Non-Refundable

  • Theme development, section customisation, or store setup started
  • Any Liquid code, design files, or app configurations shared
  • Shopify app fees, theme licences, or third-party integrations
  • Change of mind after kickoff

Shopify platform fees, theme licences, and paid app subscriptions are non-refundable under any circumstance.

6. SEO Services

Includes: Technical SEO audits, on-page optimisation, link building, local SEO

Refund Eligible

  • No audit or optimisation work has been started
  • Duplicate or accidental payment before campaign begins

Non-Refundable

  • Audit report delivered or optimisation tasks executed
  • Monthly retainer once the service period has begun
  • Results affected by Google algorithm changes, competitor actions, or hosting factors
  • Unused portions of a monthly retainer

SEO results are not guaranteed. Specific ranking positions or traffic numbers cannot be promised and are not grounds for a refund.

7. Content Writing & Copywriting

Includes: SEO blog posts, website copy, product descriptions, email sequences

Refund Eligible

  • Brief not yet accepted and no research or writing started
  • Duplicate or accidental payment

Non-Refundable

  • Research, outlines, or drafts completed
  • Content delivered (even if revisions are pending)
  • Client-requested scope changes after work begins
  • Dissatisfaction with tone/style after brief was approved

Unlimited revisions are included until content meets the approved brief. Dissatisfaction alone is not a refund basis after delivery.

8. Google AdSense Approval

Includes: AdSense policy audit, content optimisation, approval assistance

Refund Eligible

  • Service not started and no audit work completed
  • Duplicate or accidental payment

Non-Refundable

  • Audit report, content recommendations, or policy fixes delivered
  • Approval assistance submitted regardless of Google's final decision
  • AdSense approval is subject to Google's sole discretion; denial is not grounds for a refund

Google AdSense approval decisions are made entirely by Google. We cannot guarantee approval and a rejection by Google does not entitle a refund.

9. Google Ads (PPC Management)

Includes: Search, Display, Shopping campaigns, remarketing, conversion tracking

Refund Eligible

  • Campaign setup not started
  • Duplicate or accidental payment before any work begins

Non-Refundable

  • Campaign strategy, keyword research, or ad copy created
  • Campaigns live and ad spend disbursed
  • Monthly management fees once the service period begins
  • Google Ads platform ad spend — this is paid directly to Google

Google Ads ad spend is paid directly to Google and is entirely non-refundable. Management fees are non-refundable once the service month begins.

10. Facebook & Instagram Ads (Meta Ads)

Includes: Meta Ads campaign setup & management, Meta Pixel, creative design, audience targeting

Refund Eligible

  • Campaign setup not started
  • Duplicate or accidental payment before any work begins

Non-Refundable

  • Ad strategy, audience research, creatives, or copy created
  • Campaigns live and ad spend disbursed to Meta
  • Monthly management fees once the service period begins
  • Meta platform ad spend — paid directly to Meta

Meta Ads platform spend is paid directly to Meta and is non-refundable. Management fees are non-refundable once the service month begins.

11. Website Maintenance & Support

Includes: Monthly security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, bug fixes

Refund Eligible

  • None — once the service period begins, no refund is issued

Non-Refundable

  • Partially used or fully unused service periods
  • Unused support hours or request credits
  • Monthly retainer fees after the billing date

Clients may cancel future billing with 7 days' written notice before the next billing cycle. No pro-rata refunds for partially used months.

12. Website Speed Optimisation

Includes: Core Web Vitals optimisation, CDN setup, caching, image compression

Refund Eligible

  • No optimisation work has begun
  • Technical limitations prevent service delivery entirely

Non-Refundable

  • Optimisation tasks executed or improvements delivered
  • Results affected by hosting, themes, plugins, or third-party factors outside our control
  • Specific PageSpeed scores or Core Web Vitals targets not reached due to server/hosting constraints

Performance improvements depend on hosting, theme quality, and server environment. Specific speed scores are not guaranteed.

13. Website Migration

Includes: Hosting, domain, platform, or server migration, DNS management

Refund Eligible

  • Migration not initiated and no access credentials used
  • Technical incompatibility that prevents execution entirely

Non-Refundable

  • Migration process started or any files/databases transferred
  • DNS changes initiated
  • Issues arising from destination host limitations or client-side configuration

Once migration begins, the service is non-refundable due to operational risk and resource allocation.

14. Third-Party Costs (No Exceptions)

The following costs are always non-refundable regardless of project outcome:

  • Domain registrations and renewals
  • Hosting fees (any provider)
  • Paid WordPress themes and plugins
  • Shopify theme licences and app subscriptions
  • Google Ads platform ad spend
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads platform spend
  • API, SaaS tool, or platform subscription fees
  • SSL certificates, CDN services, or email platform charges

These are paid directly or indirectly to third-party providers and are outside WebCraftera LLP's control.

15. Payment Processing & Refund Timelines

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
  • Razorpay gateway and transaction fees (typically 2–3%) may be deducted from refunds.
  • PayPal transaction fees are non-recoverable and will be deducted.
  • Refund processing time: 5–10 business days after approval, subject to bank/payment partner timelines.
  • Currency conversion losses are non-refundable for international payments.

16. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a Razorpay or PayPal dispute or chargeback without first contacting WebCraftera LLP may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of all active services
  • Termination of ongoing projects without further obligation
  • Submission of all project records, communications, and deliverables to the payment provider
  • Legal action where applicable under applicable law

We strongly encourage direct communication before raising any payment dispute. Most issues can be resolved amicably.

17. Taxes & Government Fees

WebCraftera LLP is a GST-registered entity (GSTIN: 27AAFFW4697Q1Z1). GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (TAN: NSKW01198B), currency conversion charges, and any other government-mandated taxes or gateway fees are non-refundable even when a service refund is approved. The refunded amount will be the net amount after applicable deductions.

18. Policy Updates

WebCraftera LLP reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
